The radio Devon interview, BBC Radio Devon, Gordon Sparks Show, went well this morning.

Sparksie had that train painting, of the Flying Scotsman on his PC screen as the Royal Albert Bridge is hot news in Plymouth at present (are we missing out).

Nice to be painting topical subjects!

The Flying Scotsman almost finished

All the basics are now in place, the fine details and tidying up remain, in particular the Flying Scotsman herself, the Pullman coaches and the Royal Albert Bridge.

This new steam train painting is very different to the previous “train on a bridge” I have painted!

Now working on a painting of the “Flying Scotsman” crossing the Royal Albert Bridge with Pullman coaches.

True or false?

The Flying Scotsman is considered by many to be the world’s most famous engine, my guess is they are mostly Scots!
