Salvador Dali, a magic name, one of the most celebrated artists of all time.

One of the reasons I took a recent mini break was to get a better feel for the attitudes and the work of the marvel, Salvador Dali.

Wine art, Salvador Dali and sardines

What have Salvador Dali and fresh sardines in common? Me last week, I was sitting in hazy sun, at the bar and restaurant on the ‘Dali’ beach, looking at Salvador Dali’s home, the tourists and the fishing boats, speaking with people who remembered Dali; and thinking… sardines? recommended by the paton…caught that morning. I may even have spoken earlier with the fisherman… I like that though…sardines.

Painting, a creative progress

The port of Gaillac 1863, converting the foyer of  the new wine museum ‘inVINcible VIGNEron’ at Montels near Gaillac into a studio and family home…  Museum___studio_family_IMG_0500.JPG_wp.JPGThe museum is now open so you can see the work in progress. The river Tarn is still only under painted, the light here has not yet been good enough to work up the final colours.
