Brest

Lapérouse, First Fleet, descendant

Meeting direct descendants of famous mariners is for me always thrilling, I feel it a privilege an honour and of course one wonders what traits they have in common with their famous ancestor. Today, ‘Lapérouse and the First Fleet’ created a happy occasion. 
Next best is meeting them via the Internet.

Today via facebook I have a new, modest connection with Jean François de Galaup, comte de Lapérouse, of Albi, via a direct descendant, who lives in the USA.
