Christmas gift, ready in good in time.

A miniature marine painting measuring 19.6 x 24.8 cm (7¾” x 9¾”) of the renowned clipper ‘Samuel Plimsoll‘ at #Plymouth.

Samuel #Plimsoll‘ built Aberdeen by Hood had very similar lines to famous ‘Cutty Sark’ and her great rival, ‘Thermopylae’.
She was regularly converted to carry migrants from #London and Plymouth returning with wool.

There may be drawings of the ‘Mary of Truro‘. I had a dossier on her when I first painted this scene in 1989 … now wertizit… ?

This is Cutty Sark’s 150th birthday weekend.
You can visit Cutty Sark at Greenwich, London where she is open to the public.
I have been a fan and supporter from a very early age, of this great ship including taking my children to see her.
