Colour in paintings

Colour in paintings, in all art works, makes a grand difference as you can vividly see by comparing this image with my previous post of 27th June.

Trafalgar revisited, steady progress with this very unfinished (20″ x 32 “) painting of ‘HMS Victory breaking the line’.

Artist to artist, 🎨 with the composition and drawing nearing completion I have added underpainting colours. If you check out and compare this post with my previous posts of 27th and 18 th of June you will soon see what I mean !

How many changes can you count between this new image and the one of 27th June?😃

There remains a looooong way still to go before we see my finished painting.

You can discover this story including what really happened at this key moment in the battle, as opposed to, the popular myths by following my page here and my Facebook page ://www.facebook.com/gordon.frickers , enjoy, profit 😀⚓️
