Robin has been and continues to be a very fine example of a real man, an inspiration world wide to thousands possibly millions including me.
Robin has been a considerable influence in my life.
It has been my very good fortune to be personally commissioned to paint 3 pictures for Robin, “Roaring Forties’,
‘The Clipper Way’ and “Dumra, departing Bombay”
and more especially, I am honoured to be considered one of his friends.
