I thought it would be nice to share this with you, I hope you agree.
While preparing some significant publicity to promote the sales of for my new Titanic painting “Plymouth Harbour” I found myself updating a page on my website any ship enthusiast will enjoy visiting 🙂.
“Mauretania, Maiden Departure” https://www.frickers.co.uk/art/marine-art/shipping-for-the-professionals/the-mauretania-cunard-express-liner/ .
a very fine painting of a brilliantly successful and much loved ship was built by Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson on the Tyneside, 1906.
That is 6 years before the more famous but tragically doomed Titanic.
Cunard’s Mauretania was queen of the Atlantic Ocean, Cunard’s Mauretania was the fastest ocean liner afloat for 22 years, a record still unbrocken.
In print 🙂, [original sold] a very few copies remain unsold, a signed, limited edition.
