Credibility, La Poste, my ‘Terms’ of business

A couple of months back, I sent a very carefully packed framed, signed, numbered copy of  the now classic “Port of Chester 1863” to a gentleman in Chester.
Credibility, La Poste, my ‘Terms’ of business and the beautiful “Port of Chester 1863”.

Carefully reconstructed, the picture, available as a signed limited edition, shows the arrival of the American schooner ‘May’, to load Welsh silver.

Chupra, drawing 7

“Chupra 7”, my client did ask for a dramatic picture! We don’t have to run with that one though. My original thought was a new variant of “Trun” including a heavy sea and less threatening sky.  That said, like my famous, memorable “Roaring Forties”, “Chupra 7” shows something most people find hard to believe but we … Read more

Plymouth almost ‘done’

At least for the moment, Plymouth almost ‘done’.
Shopping today, then drawing, then packing.

Emsworth then Portsmouth tomorrow… home of HMS Victory, the D Day Museum, the RN Museum, the Historic Dockyard, HMS Warrior and the flagship of King Henry the VIII, ‘Mary Rose’ to name but a few of the more salubrious delights of the port sailors call ‘Pompey’.

BBC old news?

‘English defeat largely forgotten’, recently recovered in a BBC article (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-40175458#) reminds me of tourism and teaching youths, disciplines & thinking of #Harwich Mayflower Project looking for sponsors.

A painter’s contribution to society, I painted Zeven Provinciën‘.
