Painting verses web sites…

Painting and a headache, this year I’m investing a lot (more) of my time on web site development and maintenance. I should paint almost every day, J M W Turner managed that,  easier said than done.

My current concern is to get my original site www.frickers.co.uk updated and have time to paint. here is the progress with my newest landscape painting. www.frickers.co.uk is gradually becoming a specialized marine art web site I’ve posted a longer article about this evolution and creation of the painting on my new www.artfrickers.com (landscape painting) web site.

A lack of web site support is and has been a major handicap for promoting my art and for my morale.

I know very well the best way to get rid of tasks that cause ‘artist’s block’ is to deal with them immediately if not sooner.

This problem has been ‘put off’ for years, it’s not critical yet but is an accident waiting to happen hence the decision to find a solution; but how, where…?
My current concern is to get my original site www.frickers.co.uk updated and still have time to paint.
I am running WordPress on an old version, that is asking for trouble.
My www.frickers.co.uk site is on 3.9.6 so is about 4 updates behind the latest version, 4.2.2.
Having had a serious look at what has to be done I’m inclined to think this is a job that will take a lot of my time which would be better used painting so I need a specialist but who can I trust with such a sensitive task?
