An 'inland surfing' day ?

Armchair surfing might also be a description but hey, it helps keep the positive vibes flowing and surf turning. Yesterday I had something of an ‘inland surfing’ day. I found myself talking with a French friend who was describing waves he had seen recently off the Portuguese coast. He said they were 30 m high and people were surfing them. “Completely mad” was his observation.
