Ben Ainslie, good luck mate

See Ben Ainslie is sailing today – Ben Ainslie who won his first gold sailing a Laser dinghy (picture here) has dominated his Finn class in international competitions for several  years.  First_Gold_B_Ainslie_IMG_3139_wp.JPG

Great Britain’s most decorated Olympic sailor knows he can take nothing for granted.

There is a rare chance to view, possibly own, 2 original Ben Ainslie paintings and sketches produced by Gordon Frickers under licence from the British Olympic Association at www.frickers.co.uk and see them for your self near Weymouth at The Coastal Gallery,  Southampton Road, Lymington: (http://www.coastal-gallery.co.uk/page4.htm).

Ben Ainslie is sailing for his fourth Olympic gold medal (sailors can only win one Olympic gold medal per games) – he also has a silver from his Games debut in 1996

Part of the proceeds from sales will go to help future British Olympic Association athletes.

The artist Gordon Frickers has worked on many significant projects including officially for:

  • HMS Victory
  • The British Olympic Association
  • Is the only marine artist to have been invited to exhibit at the European Parliament

You can be part of this story by purchasing or   commissioning  an original Frickers painting, a signed print, an exquisite drawing or sketch and by encouraging others to do the same.

Brian Simpson MEP wrote “Frickers paintings are marks of our achievement as a people.
Frickers is an ambassador today and for future generations for our marine world
“.

I’d love another Frickers painting” ~ Sir Robin Knox-Johnston owner of the famous “Roaring Forties” subsequently commissioned 2 more.

Enjoy.
