This may effect marine painters, they are putting up new signs at the White House, please don’t walk on the lake.
Meantime I am working on a series of 2 more dhows, think Sinbad the sailor? having completed http://www.frickers.co.uk/marine-art/sanbaq-dhow-pearl-fishermen.html and http://www.frickers.co.uk/marine-art/baghlah_deep_see_dhow.html
We have an issue though with getting accurate images onto the web site. Some where between my PC and my web master’s PC, images which leave here crisp and with accurate colours degrade.
I also notice this is a common problem. Recently researching online I was very surprised to see how many so called professional photographer’s and artists pictures have the same issue, degraded reproduction online.
Have you seen in the current magazine for Park Cameras page 20 http://www.parkcameras.com/ there are now colour calibration devices available?
Park Cameras mention “solutions” called Spyder or Pantone Huey but do they deliver???
