Believed to have been a King's Castle, this symbol of royal power in a free town, this medieval Tower is probably from The Norman period. It affords magnificent views of the town and surround, well worth the Entrance fee of 1 € per person (this fee may change).
Painted on location, this massive construction is the only intact keep in the department of Gironde, and it used to serve as town hall until 1720.
Let me tell you the story about The Castel Daou Rey and rooftops of St Emilion.
