"I received the print on Monday.
I'm sure it will bring back many happy memories of the time I spent on the Rajula in the late sixties and be a source of enjoyment for years to come.
Many thanks for the helpful notes on framing
", best wishes, T.Dexter.

"Rajula" left such celebrated carriers as the Cunard Atlantic Queen's well astern so far as total compliment was concerned.

"Rajula": one of the best known ships in the British India Steam Navigation Company Ltd fleet.

This sturdy and much loved ship "Rajula" was built for the British India Steam Navigation Company Ltd (British India Line) and their "Straits" service in 1926 by Barclay Curle & Company, Glasgow, yard No 614

In 1955 "Rajula's black hull was painted white with a black Ribband. In the background of this painting is the Elder Dempster liner "Acco" and Madras docks.
