This significant painting was and is the point of departure, the beginning of Gordon Frickers systematic adventure and exploration into colour vision.
Despite struggling for hours, that evening Gordon Frickers was left feeling he had missed something important when producing this painting. The following day at the same time he returned to the location and produced "Red Bales (2)".
Gordon Frickers has returned to look and think at this spot several times since those 2 important days but that particular scene has changed for ever, recorded only in these magic paintings.
