A need to experiment with colour and form on location.
This painting started, as with many others in this project, because of I have unstable colour vison.
An old and solitary oak in a forest clearing.
However this fine old oak began mysteriously to evolve into a symbol.
Maybe once it stood with others, maybe they died, were cleared or Ent like, walked away?
