University of Plymouth Marine Department, has a long and salty history,  Tectona being a part.
Remarkably, two paintings inspired by a former captain and Uni lecturer helped save and return Tectona to Plymouth.

Finished re working the  marine painting of the sail training yacht Tectona today

This afternoon, went shopping in Toulouse,  for Pesuach.

I was surprised to see fresh snow en route and more in Toulouse. (more…)

“Tectona” which in a small way www.frickers.co.uk helped save is now once again working as a sail training vessel in Plymouth, operated by the Island Cremyll Trust.

Tectona takes disadvantaged young people on life-changing working voyages including some for people with drug problems.
