Seems like a good day to catalogue my work, my marine painting and marine prints in particular.
My car is not going any ware for a while…
I have been invited to show next year at the European Parliament, quite an honour, very very few British artists have show, Exhibit at the European Parliament
Still quad bike weather here and even the quad bike is sliding.
The roads remain almost impassable.
We are hearing from Castelnau, little traffic and only cars with chains are moving safely around hereand even them with caution.

Marine prints and marine painting back on the agenda, see the list below?
At last I am able to again accept offers of exhibitions!
Despite and because of the severe weather making roads all but impassable and much other activity difficult, I have finally catalogued the framed marine prints here.
One at least is still missing, where is it? (more…)

Curiously this makes 3 enquiries for that sort of painting in the past week…
Seems a bit like the old joke about waiting for buses?
Of course, followers of this blog will know, Gordon has a new marine painting on that subject, Nelson at Gibraltar, in production (hence insert pop up pic here) at this moment and another, a new version of Trafalgar Dawn, almost ready to start. (more…)

I’m in the beautiful village of Shilton in the Cotswold hills near Oxford.
The frost has not thawed today despite a mostly clear sky.
I am in 4 layers starting with thermals and fighting off a chill, otherwise OK thank you.
We are working on various issues including redesigning the Print Gallery on my web site intending to make purchasing significantly easier. (more…)
