Naked model or clothed, Emmanuelle Duchesse proved to be a beautiful charming and nubile model for some 11 very talented artists’ life drawing in varied styles near Itzac.
Claire de Soissons who lives near Itzac created this life drawing occasion, no teaching, rather a congenial chance to get on with the work.
This life drawing session was a pilot scheme for future days to network with other artists and people interested in fine art. (more…)

I can barely keep, up with it!
This is one of those days which reminds me of the debt we owe those who went before us to build our world.

I am planning a new piece of marine art, the opposite view.
Today was very 21st century though.
I have had today 3 enquiries about my marine painting which may be of interest and found myself yet again busy with Trafalgar and Admiral Nelson issues.

The long drive North from Itzac and my first experience of cold wet misty weather since last April…
Happily the first night was spent with very good friends who have a house in Morbihan, vallee de Villaine near Redon and in that house was a warm welcome and an open fire.
Today I have finished the drive at Roscoff, Rosko in the Breton language.

Marine prints and marine painting back on the agenda, see the list below?
At last I am able to again accept offers of exhibitions!
Despite and because of the severe weather making roads all but impassable and much other activity difficult, I have finally catalogued the framed marine prints here.
One at least is still missing, where is it? (more…)
