An enquiry arrived last week from Russia re Convoy PQ 13. 
An interesting example of the growing historical worth of The Art of Gordon Frickers, a picture painted about 1993 from an eye witness account and a good story in its self.

If I thought yesterday was final preparations day I was wrong!
Following the last picture frame repairs (more on picture frame repairs below) I got as far as loading inside the car yesterday while last minute tasks have multiplied like an algae bloom.

Ok so I am a bit tired, still got a sense of humour though, borrowed from a friend. Just got in after a brisk walk my first for two days. needed, I got up at 04:30, not the same as starting work but have painted for 7 hrs non stop. Glorious day here, like Cornwall in mid summer, warm not hot sun, cool not cold breeze.
Remind me to to have ‘once in a life time‘ exhibitions to often please… next, cook supper. (more…)

New marine paintings from the past 3 years are being posted onto the web site almost daily, the EP Expo being the catalyst, a unique event and many particularly love the new painting “New and Old” now available as a collectors print from our Print gallery on the main web site www.frickers.co.uk.
New and Old is topical and as with many of the other new paintings from the past 3 years, recently placed on the web site.
