New marine paintings from the past 3 years are being posted onto the web site almost daily, the EP Expo being the catalyst, a unique event and many particularly  love the new painting “New and Old” now available as a collectors print from our Print gallery on the main web site www.frickers.co.uk.

A press release for the European Parliament Exhibition “Life on the Ocean Wave“, an introduction and brief profile of the Plymouth based marine artist who spends much time painting in France.

This is the first time a marine artist has been invited to show in the European Parliament says our European Parliament Office; a unique event in the heart of Brussels.

Invited guests to the preview will include many of the 400 MEP’s and heads of department, a small but very influential audience.

This recognition of 30 years hard grind as an artist and 10 in the marine industry is the equivalent of winning the America’s Cup or a Nobel Prize. (more…)

A unique art event in the heart of Europe. European Parliament Exhibition news, I am very excited by the Brussels EP Expo opportunity not because I think I will sell paintings but because it is a chance to write to many significant people too make them aware of The Art of Gordon Frickers, editors, Mayors, captains of industry, all sorts, who do you suggest?

How did you spend your New Year’s eve, very merrily I hope?
I was very fortunate to have several invitations opting to join Alain, Odelle and their friends for a private party at the beautiful Domaine Barry, Compagnac, story and pictures scattered through the text below.
Probably the biggest single event for Gordon Frickers will the exhibition of marine paintings and marine prints at the invitation of the European Parliament, “marine paintings, marine transport, sport and tourism” , the exhibition starting on the 23 of May.
