Found a new house, great place for marine painting, should I rent it?
South facing with brilliant luminosity, inspirational views and quiet ( half of the property on the right in the attached pop up photo, the other building is a bar restaurant) ).
Could I rent this house beside the beach at Penestin (S Brittany)?
Great light, wonderful views, bit remote (about 40 mins from yr house), 680 Eu p.m. plus tax and services so works out about 850 to 950 p.m all in?
Very tempting as a place to paint, good sized rooms for painting, calm, great light. inspiring location, nice litteraly new house.
Quite a bit more cost than Itzac but then most places are, the Tarn is one of the cheapest places to live in France.
Problems at Itzac include it is remote and I have very little studio floor space.
On the plus side mien hoste Chris Boddington, who with a familiar of his also uses the studio space, does encourage my work and is generally quite supportive which I appreciated.
Not sure though as Penistin is remote from my “markets” being about 35 minutes drive to the nearest civilizations, Nantes, La Baulle and St Nazaire.
St Malo is about 2 hrs, Roscoff 3, Bordeaux 4 La Rochelle about 3.5, Paris about 3.5
Would appreciate your thoughts…

Hi, that was without a doubt an awesome read. I had actually been searching for a photo printing related blog for a while now. Great! I have a similar blog, how much do you charge for advertising? because I can’t seem to locate the information anywhere.
