I have been asked today to be on HMS Victory on the 4 th Dec for an interview to go onto a BBC Channel 4 documentary next spring.

The marine painting of “Jane Banks entering Bermuda” (see page http://www.frickers.co.uk/marine-art/jane_banks_entering.html) has inspired a painting poem! 
I am delighted and honoured to find my painting has inspired a poem now an addition to the beautiful music of Bob Brennan.
The request for a marine print of “Jane Banks“ also brought about a rare chance to meet a descendant of one of the captains of “Jane Banks“. (more…)

Plymouth Naval History Library staff have been hugely helpful with my research over many years.
“Masterpiece … … Renowned Marine artist has presented a stunning framed print to Plymouth Central Library” recorded The Herald and The Extra, while less helpfully leaving out my web site or contact details. 
I felt is was about time I did some thing more tangible to show my appreciation to the staff at Plymouth Central Library , something they would like. (more…)

At the Royal Western Yacht Club, an event that was one of the main reasons I am in Plymouth this week.
