Ports have often been a feature of marine art, no less so for the marine art of Gordon Frickers.
Gordon Frickers is a master of the spectacular painting of ports, “The Port Chester 1863″, Emigration, Plymouth Cattewater” and “The Port of Gaillac 1863” being fine examples.
As the name implies this section is some what self explanitory however behind each painting are two stories, how the painting came to be created and the story of the particular part of that port.
