Plymouth for one more week

I’m feeling very delicate, I caught a nasty cold 3 days ago… I’m around Plymouth for one more week so if you want to see me while I’m in GB speak up very soon please… Today I had a rare treat.Plymouth Sound afternoon (50) 09.11.14 IMG_2309

I was able to see one of my paintings in the home and the frame of my clients’ choice. Me 109 (50) IMG_2319

I was also treated to very good hospitality and a fine ‘English’ (roast beef naturally) lunch accompanied by a wine from Corbiers, France which had been given time to warm and breath, delicious.
The property in question is at Bovisands with a panoramic view of Plymouth where the action shown in the painting took place back in May 1942.

Thus you are seeing here photos of the Sound, to Rame Head (Cornwall) the western approaches and to seaward 10 miles off shore Are the Eddystones and light house.

Author David J B Smith is writing about Plymouth, true stories from World war Two. I’ll let you know via these posts when he publishes.

His last book was a gripping read, well written and became an Amazon best seller.
